TGIF Forum Mall!!

The trend of the American restaurants has been increasing drastically after one of their successful launch of TGIF in Hyderabad, they are on the verge of waiting for the second round. It has been a long wait since when the forum mall has opened for its customers and the TGIF is one of the favorite restaurants that has got a huge fan following base for its inauguration. Well, i am one of them. As soon as i came to know the opening of TGIF, went in there with a couple of friends.

Firstly it is located on the fifth floor with a huge space for seating and relaxation. The place to hangout with friends and family. As they don't serve alcohol in the premises.

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and comforted at a decent corner and we are happy with the courtesy and hospitality. The order was took for

Fried mozzarella
spicy chicken wings
classic american veggie pizza
Ultimate Friday's Nachos
spicy veggie pizza
Miami Cuban chicken stack
classic chocolate malt cake
Friday's lemonade
chocolate shake
blue raspberry slush

The starters were very good, the fried mozzarella was my favorite and it was stuffed with a cheese slice long cut, the salsa was a perfect accompany. I loved stuffing the salsa into the fried patty thing, which gave even perfect taste. I loved it.

My friends ordered for the spicy chicken wings, on which the sauce was heavily spiced and the wings are relatively small in size. But the taste was good. They had an opinion that the mayo might have worked well with the wings as well.

Next came the nachos, it was heavily garnished with greens and the peanut paste which was even balanced with the tangy mustard sauce. I loved the sprinkling. The base was nice and the dip was also pretty flavorful. But the continuous, attack may leave you with scars on the upper jaw.Beware. !!!

I ordered for classic american veg pizzas, which was made with handful of veggies and also green chilies to balance the flavor equally. I liked the flavor and the cheese was extraordinary. Each and every bite was a feast. even my friends who ordered their spicy chicken pizza, liked the veg pizza.

The desert came in after a series of lemonades and slushes we ordered in order to slipway the spice contact.
The Friday's lemonade was one of the best for me, as it was simple yet flavorful and fizzy at the same time. The mixing of 2-3 flavors and giving it an extra touch with the mint and lime...made it even better.

The desert was the classic malt cake, which had loads of chocolate topped with cream, caramel and nuts. The taste was very good. We even got another desert as a complimentary. It was the brownie malt cake, which was topped with hot chocolate and ice cream.

The overall experience was good and we loved the food. The service section was a bit in confusion state and the huge crowd made them busy a lot of time.

The ambiance was very unique and one of its kind. This has the special theme which any of the TGIF around the world hasn't got and the dark light punching in with a lot of decor and rock music will take you into the party mood the very next second you enter. That's the magic.

Looking forward for more and more experiences at TGIF. Signing off on a Thursday. :P

CI GUSTA!!! WE LIKE IT!!

Ci-Gusta!! -- "Yes we liked it" !! Well, what can i say, when i dreamed of a restaurant serving all of my favorites in one joint, what else it could be. Well to put it in a simple way, i can call simply  it CI-GUSTA!!  Be it the froyo, gelato, pizza, pasta, it all made me droll over the food all the time and with my every single visit made my experience even better and better. well i can admit the fact that, their froyo is one of the best i have ever tasted. The best!!. Recently they have added the red velvet, pan, Ferraro rocher, panacotta gelato flavors and the froyo section was updated with the orange and the banana. The orange has got the strong tangy flavor and the banana was mild and excellent.

It was about one of my recent trips to ci-gusta. Some of us gathered at the place after a meet up and we are a bit hungry and with out any hesitation and look up at the menu, we ordered for a red sauce pasta, mix veg pizza, paneer shashlik sizzler, panini sanwich, mushroom buttons.  And some of my friends ordered for the chicken stragnoff, crispy chicken wings. In between i had the peach mango froyo and the forest berry. And we had the new addition of the menu called coffee creamosa. It was very good with a strong flavor of the fresh ground coffee. I liked it.

The pasta was good, and the spice levels is moderate. The pizza was very thin crust and the edges were a bit dry but the crunch made it even better. The paneer shashlik sizzler was an absolute hit and was brilliant. The taste of butter and the cream was over pouring and the fumes are making the looks go awesome. One of the best sandwiches are made with panini bread here, and the stuffing is so good that the pesto sauce is making all the magic for me. The mushroom buttons are also very well done and the sauce was very strong for taste. We completed it with the sizzler, with butter rice.

The service and ambiance are an advantage to an fun filled experience like this and every meet up at ci gusta is a memory for me. They serve like family and the hospitality standards are a t par. The costing is a bit high and can spend some whole some money for the heartful food and conversation.
